Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July! This is one of my favorite holidays, especially in our small town of Lodi. This morning we headed to Lodi Lake for the Kiwana's Pancake Breakfast. Amidst the hollering for Josh to get his butt out of bed and Gabriella screaming as I put her red, white and blue bows in her hair, I had to bite my tongue and take a deep breath, because darn it, I was going to create HAPPY memories for my family on this day!

We were meeting up with the Accoglio's, Nickel's, and Nabor's at 8:00 a.m. and it was 7:56 a.m. after leaving the bank for some cashola. I'm tapping my foot and growling as Jeff drove the speed limit down the quiet streets of our town. We pass a few families on bikes and I think happily how I'm glad that is NOT one of our family traditions.

As we arrive, we walk right on up, get our food and quickly find our friends already seated. It's cool, the food is yummy, the company is fun to be with, and yes, I am now relaxing and enjoying our day with friends!

We spent some time at the beach, and visited our friends, the Peterson's, the Layman's and the Liu's who were camping.

This was Gabriella's first Christmas! She has started crawling and LOOK OUT! She's getting into everything!
